Pro and anti-government factions clash in the Empress Market Place here 2/17. Rioting broke out when Pathan tribesmen, supporters of President Mohammad Ayub Khan, attacked crowds waiting to welcome leftist opposition leader Zulfikar Ali Bhutto to Karachi.
