Description
Masses of French farmers angry with their government's farm policies, with too little land to support their numbers, with their failure to catch up to the steadily increasing incomes of city workers, with the European Common Market and with the Twentieth Century in general are reacting to their dilemma with daily growing violence. A mob of rioters hurls large stones in Quimper, France here sometime in October of this year in an encounter which injured 100 farmers and 179 policemen.
