For many years, horse-drawn, carriages have played important roles in the Vieux Carre scene like Creole pralines, strip joints and jazz emporiums. But something new has been added to the quaint surrey with the fringe on top to heighten its anachronistic aspect. The sightseeing one-horse shay has blossomed out - it now has an antenna and two-way radio.
