Into 90 feet of water - Transcontinental Gas Pipe LineE™s newest offshore lateral slides into the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Louisiana. The big pipe later will be jetted-down under the floor of the Gulf. Transco expects to start taking natural gas about October 1 from new offshore reserves in the Eugene Island area. Transco is also laying offshore lines in three other areas off the Louisiana coast.
