SOMETHING FOR JEFFERSON to bank on. The Commerce Corporation yesterday bought a $100,000 site on Jefferson Highway at Labarre Road for construction of a National Rank of Commerce in Jefferson Parish. Construction will begin in about three weeks. Principals in the transaction are, seated, from left, Dudley Geigerman, who sold the property, and R. M. Walmsley III, treasurer, of the Commerce Corporation; and standing, Charles Murphy, the seller's accountant; A. J. Waechter and Harold Buchler, attorneys for the corporation, and IV.
