Their 50th Wedding Anniversary was celebrated by Mr. and Mrs. Preston Loyd at their residence, 4238 Orleans. The couple was married at Sacred Heart church on October 5, 1904. They have three daughters and six grandchildren. Mr. Lloyd, 77, retired about eight years ago after 40 years as a customs inspector and in other goverment positions. Mrs. Loyd is the former Miss Elizabeth Seebt.
