Description
The client seeking legal help appeared slow in thought and speech. There was an aura of apathy and helplessness about him. No matter what the attorney proposed, he couldn't see how it would work. He seemed incapable of carrying out instructions. Dr. Melvin Selzer, scheduled to speak later this week at the mid-winter convention of the American Trial Lawyers Association, believes lawyers should learn to detect symptoms of emotional distress in their clients.
