Soaring across the stages of more than two dozen cities across the United States, the Spring, 1981 tour of the Israel Ballet will coincide with 33rd birthday celebrations for the State of Israel nationwide. Having just completed its Mediterranean tour, which spotlighted guest dancers Alexander Godunov and Eva Evdokimova in Athens, the company was founded by dancers Berta Yampolsky and Hillel Markman soon after the June '67 war.
