Winsome charmer Carolyn Porter decorates the cast of "True Story" (Saturdays, 12:00 noon, NBC-TV) in various roles. She has played the wife of a murdered novelist, a femme fatale, and the daughter of a prominent industrialist, in roles that are sometimes sympathetic, sometimes not. Carolyn, a blue-eyed blonde who has trouble keeping her weight down ("It's a tough fight, but I usually win"), is a former publicity gal Friday, who decided one day she liked the other side of the camera better, and is now a much sought-after girl among the leading producers and directors.
