An Israeli soldier uses an acetylene torch to weld shut the metal doors of an Arab-owned shop in the Israeli-occupied Gaza strip Saturday. Some Arab shop-owners in the strip had shut their doors as part of a general strike called by Arab guerrilla organizations. Less than four hours after the strike began, 50 shops had reopened.
