Description
British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan, center, is accompanied by unidentified aides on arrival at Elyses Palace in Paris tonight for a meeting with French President Charles de Gaulle. Macmillan later met with President Eisenhower and was scheduled to see Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev in an attempt to keep the Big Four summit conference going. Differences between Russia and the United States stalemated the high-level meetings on opening day today.
