Description
Autopsy tissues are studied on assembly line basis. Material is handled under strictest security to prevent any possible contamination. Series of stainless steel locks seal compartment from outside air. Tissues are exposed only to air circulating inside interior of compartment. Workers perform processing duties, moving from one lock position to next, inserting their hands and arms into permanently fixed rubber gloves. Man at right is Dr. Alfred Hellman, head of "hot virus" lab facility.
