Atlanta, Ga... Supported by Governor Eugene Talmadge, Arch-enemy of the new deal, Charles D. Redwine (above), President of the Georgia Sate Senate, is battling two pro-new deal opponents in the Georgia Primary today (Sept. 9) for the Democratic Nomination for Governor of Georgia. The two other entrants in the three-man race are speaker E.D. Rivers, of the State House of Representatives, and Judge Blanton Fortson, of Athens.
